The mountain areas of Taiwan are known for their severe and often unpredictable storms. I took this shot just after torrential rain, and an awesome thunder and lightning show.

  1. I love the way the clouds are hanging just above the mountains, like the storm isn’t quite ready to give up.

  4. Great colours. Great setting. Great mood. Really a superb photo. I miss the wild thunderstorms on the west coast. I love it when we get the occasional lightning storm

    • I know what you mean Leigh. We don’t get a lot of thunder and lightning here in Korea either, or at least where I am. Then again, maybe that’s a good thing. Often the quality of the electrical work here is spotty at best. Lightning might not be its best friend!

  5. Hauntingly beautiful! Nice capture.
